China exported nearly seven percent less rare earths in August than in the same month last year, Reuters news agency reported. Compared to July 2022, exports of the strategic commodities increased slightly.
Overall, exports of goods and commodities from China performed worse than expected in August, Bloomberg writes. Global demand fell due to inflation, added disruptions in production caused by the strict lockdown policy to contain the Corona pandemic in the Asian country.
