Rare earth exports from China fell by 8.2 percent year-on-year in March. As reported by Reuters news agency, citing data from the customs authority, 4,446 tons of the critical raw materials were exported, compared with 4,845 tons in the same month last year. This contrasts sharply with the performance of exports as a whole, which grew substantially by 14.8 percent in March compared with the same month last year. Analysts had expected a decline here, Reuters reports.
