China: Data on Critical Raw Materials Exports for December

SHARE

On Tuesday, Chinese customs authorities released trade data for critical raw materials and related components. Exports of gallium and germanium showed opposite trends in December, as did the rare earth elements terbium and dysprosium. Exports of rare earth magnets, however, remained largely unchanged compared with November. The year-on-year comparison highlights the true volatility of the markets for most of these materials.
